In the Korça Region, problems related mainly to electricity supply and road infrastructure continue as a result of weather conditions.
According to OSHEE, feeder 9 at NST Lozhan is partially without power, affecting about 400 rural subscribers, while 5 cabins in the Leshec and Maliq–Opar areas as well as 3 rural subscribers are out of operation. Feeder 14 at NST Petrusha has left the Dardhas, Prenisht and Grunjaz areas without power, with about 400 rural subscribers affected.
Around 700 urban subscribers in the Garnizon, Gorica and Gurore areas of Pogradec are also without power, supplied by feeder 20 "Ushtria" at NST Pogradec. In the Guri i Kuq area, the Potgozhan feeder has interrupted supply to the Bishnicë, Jollë, Tallë and Lëngë areas, affecting around 100 rural subscribers.
Meanwhile, the JO6 feeder at NST Leskovik is disconnected due to a defect and has left 257 rural subscribers in the areas of Podë, Postenan, Peshtan, Gjirakarë, Radovë, Lashovë, Vrespkë, Radanj, Shalës and Germenjë without power. OSHEE teams are on the ground repairing the defects, while all feeders supplying consumers of particular importance are functional and the Pogradec Hydroelectric Power Plant continues to operate normally.
In the Municipality of Kolonjë, rural roads in Sokorovot, Kreshovë, Lavdar, Lahollarë, Strajë and Psar have been cleaned, while in the city of Erseka, the “Rilindja” square has been cleaned and road axes have been salted to prevent frost. The need for intervention in the road segment towards the village of Shemetirë and on the rural road to the village of Gjonç is being assessed.
In the Municipality of Maliq, the problem of the breach in the embankment of the Devoll River continues, where intervention is currently impossible. Landslides and other problems have been identified in the Kakaç area, while the bridge in the village of Osojë requires further investment and intervention. The cleaning of rural roads is continuing and the situation is being monitored by the Civil Emergencies and the Municipality.
In the Devoll Municipality, roads in the Miras Administrative Unit have been opened and salted, while traffic on the Vidohovë–Miras road has been normalized. Repairs have been made to the Oshticë river embankment and the river in the village of Përparimaj has been arranged to prevent flooding. The Grapsh–Përparimaj road has returned to normal operation.
In the Municipality of Pustec, work is underway to clean the Gorrica stream and repair the Lajthizë–Liqenas road segment. The Municipality of Korça does not report any problems as a result of the rainfall, while measures have been taken for the road to the village of Denas and the intervention will be carried out after the water level decreases.
In the Municipality of Pogradec, the main problem remains the Vërdovës River, where part of the road has collapsed and traffic is limited to one lane. The Remenj River has been stabilized and a final solution is being assessed, while the city river has caused damage and requires intervention.
According to the ARRSH, Center-East Directorate, the Dardhas road is temporarily passable and the conclusions of geological specialists are being awaited. At the end of the village of Çërrava, a landslide has been detected that endangers an inhabited house.
