On several road axes in the country, there have been rockfalls, debris, and the presence of water, due to overnight rainfall.
The Albanian Road Authority (ARRSH) announces that there are problems on several road axes.
In Qafë Dushk-Sevaster, traffic is being carried out with one lane due to the narrowing of the road, while in Valare-Erind-Çajup there are active landslides and the axis is blocked.
The National Road Safety Agency also announces that on the Korçë-Dardhë axis (km 9+00), there was a lateral landslide of the road body, while on the Përmet-Tre Urat axis (Ura e Petrani), there was an active massive landslide and the crack widened by about 10 cm.
Meanwhile, landslides have also occurred in Librazhd-Qafë Thanë, where cleaning is in progress. On the Dushaj-Lekbibaj axis, a rock mass fell in the early hours of the morning and traffic continues with caution.
According to the ARRSH, work is underway to clear the roads. Drivers are also urged to exercise extra caution.

Road situation
Rainfall continued throughout the country overnight, bringing falling rocks, debris, and the presence of water on the road.
There was snowfall in the northern area, at altitudes above 1100 m, specifically on the axes: Bogë-Theth, Hani i Hotit-Vermosh, Surel-Qafë Priskë-Qafë Molë, Elbasan-Gjinar, Ibë-Krrabë-Elbasan, Qafë Mali-Fierzë?
Axes that have had problems:
Qafë Dushk-Sevaster (km 10-11): one-lane traffic due to narrowing of the road.
Valare-Erind-Çajup (km 7+600): active landslide, blocked axis at this location, work is underway to open it.
Korçë-Dardhë (km 9+00): lateral landslide of the road surface, the situation is being monitored.
Përmet-Tre Urat (Ura e Petrani): active massive landslide, crack expansion about 10 cm.
Librazhd-Qafë Thanë: landslide, cleanup in progress.
Skuraj-Peshkopi: falling rocks and debris, cleaning by work groups.
Dushaj-Lekbibaj: rockfall in the early hours of the morning, traffic continues with caution.
Shkalla e Zezë (Gjirokastër): one-way street, extra attention required.
Llogara: there is dense fog.
Contractors with equipment and workers are on the ground without interruption to clean the road axes.
Drivers should exercise extra caution while driving, reduce speed due to wet roads, and equip themselves with winter tires and chains when traveling to mountainous areas with snow.
