Citizens protested this evening in front of the Ministry of Health for the lack of life-saving medicines. At the door of the institution, leaflets with different writings have been placed by citizens who complain about the lack of life-saving medicines in the oncology ward.
"At the oncology clinic, 600 women lack treatment for cancer. Who cares about what happens in the health system in Albania. Ministers should not deal with Facebook propaganda, where they write "free health, the health we want", the reality is different, ask relatives in hospitals. This is not the medicine we want.
50 million lek has been tendered by the ministry for the maintenance of the luxury cars it has. 20 million ALL for the heating and cooling system. Of course, this should be done, but children and parents who need life-saving medications cannot be left alone because they cannot provide them in any other way," said Osman Stafa, who was also present at the protest in front of the Ministry of Health.
They stated that many of these medications were smuggled in by citizens suffering from serious illnesses.
