"They stole our democracy by procedure", Lapaj demands the change of the electoral system

The lawyer, Adriatik Lapaj, who is soon expected to open a new political party, emphasized that in Albania the competition should be opened and the lists should be opened.

In an interview for "Ora News", he stated that what is killing democracy in our country is the current electoral system, which according to him should be changed.

"The problem lies in the electoral system. Party leaders decide the fate of ministers. The careers of deputies and ministers are decided by the prime minister and party leaders. One government leaves, another comes back. One minister leaves and another comes back.

We have to open the race, open the lists. We have been robbed of democracy by procedure. If we did not open the race, it will continue ," said Lapaj, among other things.
