Today, the well-known poet Agim Doçi was escorted to his last residence. His friends and family remembered the most beautiful and last moments with the poet.
Albi Llushi, a friend of the Doçi family, said that his last phone call was precisely with Agim Doçi. He stated that the poet should have been escorted to his last residence with tributes, but his family members had not received any invitation from the state institutions.
"It was my last conversation with him. I was surprised that he had never picked me up so late at night. And after I heard the news about his separation, I said that he felt his heart to give you the last greeting. For me and for every young artist he has been a great support. I find the opportunity to thank him and why he is no longer among us. A poet like Agimi will never have a date of death, only a date of birth.
My sister, Teuta, informed me of the bitter news and said that this cerebral hemorrhage had occurred. I was very sorry. I wish he didn't die as a hostage. Agim Doçi did not want money from the state, he wanted support, he wanted appreciation. You cannot ask the institutions, the invitation should come that this was the assessment" , said Albi Llushi.
The well-known actor and at the same time his close friend, Çun Lajçi through tears remembered the moment of meeting the poet. Asked if Agim Doçi expected support from the state, a pension, Lajçi said yes and that he deserved it.
"His death was not unexpected, because the last time I met him and he took my book, I saw that the first bleeding had left consequences. I knew Dawn at the time when he was economically bad. If there was anyone who loved Kosovo, it was Agim Doçi. He has written a lot about Kosovo. He has been a rebel artist all his life. Physically we saw very little, but we were heard together very often. It hurt me that if he saw a red flower he said it was red, if it was black he said it was black", said Çun Lajçi.
