The vice president of the Muslim Community in Albania, Lauren Luli, has spoken about the position of the religious sect he belongs to for the creation of a Bektashi state.
According to him, the position of the KMSH regarding Prime Minister Rama's plan was quite clear, when it was said that there is some kind of dissatisfaction, not only with the plan as a whole, but also with the bits of information that have come to light from the foreign media.
"I believe the statement of KMSH is very clear, we had a position to express our dissatisfaction with these pieces of information because we have nothing officially communicated. We see it as a kind of dangerous precedent because we have a good example of the country in religious coexistence and harmony. Such influences, such violations, giving such attributes as a sovereign state, violates this religious coexistence. We think it is extremely dangerous", explained the vice president of KMSH to Euronews.
Further, Luli stated that this plan could not help or be a supporting factor in the path of religious communities, on the contrary, according to him, this will affect a division between them.
"This precedent does not help or support the path of religious communities in our country, it can harm it. Each of us must also see the benefits, because the damages cannot yet be accurately discussed. Yesterday, the meeting of the Presidency unified the opinion that KMSH should give its opinion, because it is about terms that are misused. It would be scary to think if there would be a conflict, every institution should show the appropriate maturity so that this situation does not behave like this, in a kind of complete puzzle", said the vice president of KMSH.
