The Criminal Lawyers Association has come out publicly against Prime Minister Edi Rama, following the latter's attacks and accusations against judges and prosecutors.
The reaction of the criminal lawyers' association comes after that of the judges, who warned Edi Rama that he will face legal consequences if he continues with the same lynching strategy.
"The one who wants to become king is also trying to seize judicial power. He has the executive, legislative, local government, president, SHISH and police under his control, now he threatens judges and prosecutors with this status:
"The Ministry of Justice will forward the misconduct of Judge Boshku to the bodies of judicial self-government (KLGJ - ILD), while I sincerely hope that justice will be taken seriously."
"It's shameful what this guy wants, to become a judge and prosecutor, or does he consider us as miligonas after he has 83 mandates. The people have 3 million people so we should all stand up and take him to court," the Criminal Lawyers Association said in a response.
Just like the Judges' Association that condemned the lynching of Marko Boshku, the Criminal Lawyers also ask Prime Minister Edi Rama to stay away from the judicial power, while supporting the High Judicial and Prosecution Councils.
"Give up the judicial power, it is an independent power, only Enver gave orders that turned into judicial decisions. You are not Enver, but you are surpassing Enver. We support the KLGJ and KLP in this battle with the power of the tall," the reaction says.
