Albana Fico will no longer be the director of QSUT.
The University Hospital Center (QSUT) has changed the manager Albana Fico, who held this position from December 2021.
She was appointed head of QSUT after the departure of Enkelejd Joti.
At that time, it was the former Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu, who announced this news, emphasizing that Fico will lead the major modernization projects of the largest hospital center in the country.
Meanwhile, it is not yet known who will take Albana Fico's place, being elected at the head of QSUT. The reason for the resignation is thought to be the fire that occurred on February 11 in the Emergency Room of QSUT, for which the directorate did not take measures.
We remind you that the Emergency Department at the hospital of internal diseases at QSUT has been out of order since February 11, when a fire broke out on its -1st floor, the causes of which are still unknown and are being investigated by the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana.
