Criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço spoke about the wiretaps at SKY ECC and the files that are expected to explode soon. Karamuço said that there are some wiretaps that are still unsolved and are sitting in the drawers of some prosecutors, for various reasons.
"All these investigations that have had evidence from SKY as their basis have had difficulties, where according to the Constitutional Court and other courts, in addition to the wiretaps that you have at your disposal, you must also have other evidence. The trial is taking place now, but these happened 7 years ago. We have started to give the first decisions based on SKY ECC. It is a large database that comes from internationals.
"First of all, I don't wish anyone prison. We've had some SKY pins for several years that are still in the prosecutors' drawers because they happened there, maybe they are unidentified. Maybe someone is turning a blind eye to avoid responsibility for some public figure ," Karamuço told Euronews Albania.
