Rainstorms and risk of flooding tomorrow, areas expected to be affected

Heavy rain is expected in the country tomorrow. According to forecasts, bad weather is expected in the country from November 17-23. The most intense rainfall is expected in the Theth-Valbonë and Shkodër-Pukë areas.

Heavy rainfall will peak on November 18–19 and 22, mainly in the Theth–Valbonë and Shkodër–Pukë areas.

The amount of precipitation is expected to reach 150–200 mm in Fierzë and up to 300 mm in Koman–Vau i Dejës.

KESH is monitoring the situation in real time and the operation of the cascade is being carried out within the technical conditions and quotas allowed by regulations.

Authorities are urging citizens of surrounding areas to exercise increased caution during this period, due to intense rainfall that could cause flooding or dangerous situations on roads and low-lying areas.
