Ilir Vrenozi abandons Berisha: I won't come to the protest, I don't

Famous democrat Ilir Vrenozi seems to disagree with the decision of the Democratic Party and its leader Sali Berisha to return to protests, as he stressed that he will not be part of tomorrow's rally in front of the Prime Minister's Office, as he does not want to appear as a victim or a sick militant.

In a post on Facebook, Vrenozi said that it makes no sense to participate in the protests organized by the party he supports, without a deep analysis to find out who is responsible for the consecutive losses in the elections. He also asked the leaders of the Democratic Party to open up the party and allow new figures into it.

"Will you be at the DP protest on Monday? Honestly, it's the first time in all these years and I feel that if I go to the protest tomorrow, I'll think of myself as saying it in Albanian, like a K*r? Why like a K*r, you mean, my friend, because when you go to a protest, something pushes you, tomorrow is the first time that nothing pushes me to go, because I'm one of those who want to overthrow Rama, not serenade him with fireworks.... I've had enough.

I am very sorry for this situation, but without analyzing the losses without dotting the i's, continue with the same team even though you have lost 6 or 7 times, Rama is only honored by the way we act. I think we are acting very wrong, we are an opposition that does not inspire hope, that the people with 1000 scandals of Rama and still do not feel him rise up.... analyze the losses, hold the losers accountable, open the parties to enter new blood.... then go on a hunger strike in Parliament, demand early elections and a technical government without Rama. I told you we will not recognize May 11, it is a farce, now if the protests started, but you entered Parliament, that is, you accepted May 11, it seems unrelated and you started receiving the salaries and other privileges that belong to the deputy... enough of the "serenades" protests... they have no value for us who want to remove Edi Rama.

"It hurts my soul that I won't be at the protest tomorrow for my mother's soul, but I don't want to seem like a K*r, or a pure victim or a sick militant, no, no, no, no... I want to get rid of Edi Rama, not serenade Rama under the window with fireworks and stones..", writes Vrenozi.
