The Special Prosecutor's Office has added the Legal Director of the Ministry of Justice, Alba Thoma, to the list of "architects" of the incinerators.
In the other investigations, she was left out, but today she is among 15 people accused of the Tirana incinerator.
But who is Alba Thoma?
Alba Thoma started her career, with the support of Edi Rama, in June 2004 when she was 22 years old, as "Tirana City Attorney", where she stayed until August 2005 and joined the DP government.
On February 1, 2006, Fatmir Mediu, who is also the brother-in-law of Ilirjan Celibash, took Mrs. Alba Thoma, the wife of Ilirjan Celibash's brother, to the Ministry of Defense, whom he appointed Head of Legal at the state ammunition company "MEICO", where he also stayed. 4 months after Gërdec.
According to the investigation file of this massacre with 26 victims and 300 injured, the legal head of "MEICO", Alba Thoma, gave the approval and drew up the contract of the Gërdec factory; but the prosecutors did not include him in the investigation, although they found letters and messages with Mihal Delijorgji, as SPAK did with the "e-mails" for the landfills with Bllako, Zoto and Mërtiri.
Alba Thoma, according to SPAK's investigation, appears to be the compiler of the act that paved the way for the Elbasan incinerator. Thoma drafted the decision of the Municipal Council of Elbasan Municipality, which decided to declare a state of environmental emergency.
From Bllako's electronic communications with Thoma, the investigators learned that the latter has drawn up the draft concession contract, which Blako then sent to his fellow businessmen, Zoto and Mërtiri. The shooting of e-mails between Thoma and Bllakos, the latter with Mërtiri and Zoto, has also revealed other affairs, other names, companies and private activities that stain the state and business with the scum of corruption.
