SPAK has revealed details from the visit of its leader, Altin Dumani, to the United States of America. In addition to the visit to the State Department, there were high-level meetings with officials from the FBI and DEA and the Department of Justice. The focus of the discussions was on cracking down on Albanian criminal organizations with international activity, especially in the field of drug trafficking and money laundering.
Dumani's official visit to Washington on September 2 and 3, according to SPAK, took place at the invitation of the US government and aimed to strengthen strategic cooperation in joint investigations, information exchange and coordination in operations against transnational organized crime. According to the statement, Dumani was received by senior officials from the FBI and the State Department, who praised SPAK's role in dismantling criminal networks with ties to Albania and the diaspora.
In another development, the head of the Special Prosecution Office also participated in the DEA International Conference in Nashville, Tennessee on August 26-28. At this event, which brought together leaders of law enforcement agencies from around the world, Dumani met with DEA Administrator Terrance Cole. According to SPAK, the meeting aimed to strengthen the alliance against international drug trafficking and create new bridges of cooperation with partner countries.
This visit confirms that SPAK is attempting to increase the level of international cooperation, while the US continues to be the main ally in the fight against corruption and organized crime in Albania.

During meetings with officials from the State Department, the Department of Justice, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the importance of close cooperation between SPAK and American law enforcement agencies to crack down on international criminal organizations, stop illegal drug trafficking, and money laundering was discussed.
Mr. Dumani expressed his gratitude for the continued support of the United States and emphasized the importance of this strategic partnership.

Nashville Tennessee – At the invitation of the US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), SPAK Director, Mr. Altin Dumani, participated in the International Conference on Narcotics Law Enforcement, which took place in Nashville, Tennessee on August 26-28.
The conference, titled, “Global Unity for a Safer Future: Strengthening Alliances Against Transnational Crime,” was welcomed by the Attorney General of the United States, Ms. Pamela J. Bondi.
During the conference, Mr. Dumani held a meeting with the DEA Administrator, Mr. Terrance Cole, where the existing cooperation in the fight against international drug trafficking and the importance of its continuation and expansion in the future were appreciated.
The Head of the Special Prosecution Office also met with leaders of important law enforcement agencies of the countries participating in the conference, with whom he discussed the possibility of creating bridges of communication as well as strengthening existing relationships to combat international drug trafficking.
