Journalist Sokol Bregu says that even if Nuredin Dumani dies, legal proceedings based on his testimony will continue normally. According to Bregu, even if they kill him, the perpetrators will not benefit at all.
"And even if you poison him, and even if Nuredin Dumani loses his life, everything continues in terms of the legal procedure, the evidence and the interest that SPAK has. The loss of Dumani's life does not change anything. Those who are accused know this and will be sentenced based on the evidence. I do not think there is a poisoning. Those who are accused under Dumani's testimony do not only want him dead but also mature, but the problem is that they would not risk it because the lawyers have told them. And if they kill him, there is no benefit on his part.
If it was poison, it would have been over. The food might have been stale. And we get poisoned,
He has a salary from the state, which he receives when he repents. All his family members who have entered the system have it, it ranges from 600-800 thousand old lek. Everyone is given a salary because they will remain locked up, they are given a house. His evidence, whatever happens to him, is there. Albania is one of the few countries in the world where whatever happens to a witness, the testimony is still considered evidence until the end of the process.
"What politicians did Dumani meet? Which one? They are fairy tales. He was a hired killer. When he got out of prison, he worked in construction. The other brother tried to kill himself because he had no money," said Bregu.
