Analyst Artuar Zheji has stated that he has information that a very powerful oligarch will enter Albanian politics, creating a new party. He emphasized that the party that the oligarch creates will be a dangerous competitor.
In an interview for "abcnews", he said that this will happen very soon. Meanwhile, the analyst Skënder Minxhozi has opposed it, stating that for Albania, the oligarch is not the solution.
Zheji: I think very soon. I have information, some oligarch you don't care about will create a party and will be a very dangerous competitor. There is a problem, these young people who say there is no finance, no infrastructure, they start as a poor man...
Minxhozi: Don't forget it's a binomial. I don't think it works with an oligarch or someone who has a compassionate heart, who at a certain point says let's do something good and we're forming a party. When Berlusconi entered, he had an opponent on the other side, not the Italian left because it had disintegrated, he had a very strong opponent who was putting the entire republic in prison. I think the solution is not the oligarch.
Zheji: I know how to say this, that before 2005 there were rich people, after 2005 they became oligarchs. What do I mean by this? These gentlemen who now have an economic superpower, experience, there is a moment they say why should I pay taxes to them? Why can't I be the prime minister? Why can't I be Berlusconi? As prime minister I come from business. This man I think, is waiting for some fates.
