Journalist Artan Hoxha has given details on the arrest of Denis Bajri in Dubai, after he was wanted for the execution of Gjin Boriçi in Vau Deja on August 9, 2020.
Hoxha said that two more people were arrested in Dubai. However, he is expected to be released from prison very soon due to the rules there.
"The real name is Denis Vaso. The son of the famous former football player of Vllaznia and the national team, Millan Vaso, a very good football player, that's why I remember him as a sports journalist. Later, he changed his surname to Brajovic. It has been declared wanted by operation 'Metamorphosis'. He was caught in the area of Xhamllik by Renea together with Safet Bajri. The most loyal man of Behaj Bajri, as the man who carried out the execution of Gjin Ndoji and from that moment he was declared wanted.
Part of the time he was in Albania, then he left the country, he was banned from cooperating with Interpol Abu Dhabi. During the operation to capture Denis, two other citizens were captured, one from Dibra, one from Lezha. The person wanted by SPAK by decision of the Special Court is under arrest, but Albania has not extradited anyone from the Arab Emirates. He will be held there, he will appear in court. There have been cases that appear for 40 days. In this particular case, Denis has to stay until the Court decides that he will be released from prison, he will always be under supervision. The attempt that Albania is making is an effort, but no country in the world has an extradition agreement, therefore it has turned into a criminal and fiscal paradise. Albanians are just a drop of water there. I have not seen any Colombian crime boss appear on TikTok," said Hoxha on Top Channel.
