Economy expert Fatos Çoçoli has spoken about the project presented by the son-in-law of former President Trump regarding the investment of about 1 billion dollars in the island of Sazan. He made a trip in the summer of 2021 to Albania with two speedboats, one with a motorboat and one with a helicopter. It is admired by our coast and the island of Sazan. Returned to the US and then created a company and registered it at an initial value of 1.2 billion dollars. With the help of Saudi Arabia, he raised the funds available for his activity to 3.1 billion dollars. The company has been aiming to help Arab states and Israel do business together and has actually helped 17 Israeli start ups. A year later he comes to Albania and meets the prime minister", said Çoçoli to Euronews Albania.
