The secretary of the Democratic Party, Elly Schlein, was in Albania today to see closely the immigrant centers built by the Italian government, which are currently empty.
While she was near the camps in Gajdër, she declared that the ideological stubbornness of this 'Meloni' government continues to waste these Italian resources.
Through a post on the social network "Instagram", she called the agreement with Albania, as an agreement that violates the basic rights of people and Italian and European laws.
" It hurts to think that 50,000 new nursery places or 7,000 could have been paid for. teachers or 6 thousand nurses for five years. We are in front of the Gjader center in Albania, an empty center that will remain empty because it is an agreement with Albania that violates basic human rights and Italian and European laws.

We remind you that the centers are the result of the agreement signed by Giorgia Meloni and the Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and have remained practically unused until now, due to the decision of the Court of Rome not to confirm the detention of immigrants twice and to postpone cases to European Court of Justice.
