The civic march continues. After the speeches in front of the Prime Minister's Office ended, hundreds of citizens began marching through the streets of Tirana, as part of the 26th day of protest against the government and the political caste.
With red and black flags in their hands and banners, the protesters initially headed towards the Albanian Parliament, where they sat on the ground for several minutes in protest. The march then continued towards the United States Embassy.
Throughout the entire itinerary, there were no shortage of chants that have now become symbols of the protest, such as "Rama go away", "Rama resigns", "New Albania", "The end has come for you", "Rama in prison" and "Berisha in prison".
After passing by the American Embassy, the protesters headed towards the "Air Albania" stadium, while the route will conclude again in front of the Prime Minister's Office building, where this evening's protest is expected to end.
The march is taking place without incident, as citizens continue to walk in groups on the main streets of the capital, reiterating their demand for the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama and a change in the political class.
