The lawyer for the President of the PL, Kujtim Cakrani, has stated that from today, Ilir Meta will be present at every session.
In a statement to the media, he said that Meta will face and make every submission regarding the accusations raised against him.
Cakrani also stated that Ilir Meta is very relaxed, and is even preparing to publish a book.
"Meta will be at every session, he wants to be confronted and will undoubtedly be at every session to hear every claim and will give every answer and make every submission on the accusation that has been raised. Meta will be present at every session from today."
"Meta has had a correct attitude, he is relaxed, perhaps the gym and the writing he is doing for the book he is going to publish have relaxed him. Without a doubt, the presence of the lawyer has also relaxed him," said lawyer Kujtim Cakrani.
Meanwhile, Meta has requested to be questioned as a person in the know about the 'January 21' issue, where four protesters lost their lives.
Çakrani said that Meta has evidence and even state secrets.
"Mr. Meta's explanations are explanations not only in words, but also with evidence, acts. There are some documents that are also state secrets, if you want. Mr. Meta will reveal the names when he testifies," said Cakrani, among other things.
The preliminary hearing in the case of Ilir Meta has been postponed to December 5th, as his defense has requested time to familiarize themselves with the documents.
