The Palace of Congresses is transferred to the administration of the Ministry of Economy

At today's meeting, the Council of Ministers decided to change the responsibility for the administration of the Palace of Congresses from the Municipality of Tirana to the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation, in order to implement the investment project "Revitalization of the Palace of Congresses".

The Palace of Congresses, and its transfer aims to implement the investment project "Revitalization of the Palace of Congresses", one of the most iconic buildings for cultural and institutional life in the capital.

Decision of the Council of Ministers: 

Decision on the Change of Administrative Responsibility, From the Municipality of Tirana to the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation, of Property No. 7/74, in Cadastral Zone 8160, Tirana, and on an Amendment to Decision No. 834, Date 13.12.2006, of the Council of Ministers, Amended 

In accordance with Article 100 of the Constitution and Articles 13 and 15 of Law No. 8743, dated 22.2.2001, “On State Immovable Properties”, as amended, upon the proposal of the Prime Minister, the Council of Ministers 

DECIDED: 

1. Change of responsibility for the administration, from the Municipality of Tirana to the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation, of the property with number 7/74, in cadastral area 8160, Tirana, according to the survey plan, attached to this decision, in function of the implementation of the investment project "Revitalization of the Palace of Congresses". 

2. The property specified in point 1 of this decision is removed from the inventory list of public, state immovable properties, attached to decision no. 834, dated 13.12.2006, of the Council of Ministers, “On the approval of the partial inventory list (part one + part two) of state immovable properties in the Municipality of Tirana, Tirana District”, as amended. 

3. The Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation, the Municipality of Tirana and the State Cadastre Agency are responsible for the implementation of this decision. 

This decision enters into force immediately and is published in the "Official Gazette".
