European Parliament letter to Serbia: Address the issues of Albanians in the
The European Parliament asks Serbia not to discriminate against Albanians.

The European Parliament has sent a letter to Serbia, asking it to respect and implement all the agreements signed since the Consular Agreement of 2001, ensuring the full affirmation and protection of the rights of the Albanian minority.

This was announced by Shaip Kamberi, the only Albanian deputy in the Parliament of Serbia.

In a letter signed by Viola Von Carmon, Rainer Wieland, Michael Gahler and Thijs Reuten, the EP reminded Serbia that Albanians in the Valley continue to face various forms of discrimination.

In this letter, according to Kamber, five main issues are listed that must be addressed by the Government of Serbia to ensure equality and non-discrimination for Albanians.

"A big thank you to the Government of Kosovo, in particular Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi, for their precious support and their vision in the lobbying processes for the rights of Albanians in the Presheva Valley. Today, more than ever, we must be united to ensure a better future for the Albanians of the Presheva Valley", Kamberi wrote on social networks.
