"The opposition is patching up the image of the prime minister",

Analyst Andi Bushati spoke about the anti-corruption commission approved by the SP.

He said that the opposition should not become a facade of the government and cannot patch the image of Rama for corruption.

Bushati added that Rama's intentions are hidden as he tries to affect the justice reform and reduce the impact of SPAK.

"Rama has all the levers in his hand to fight corruption. The fact that the levers at his disposal are not enough makes us all suspect that he may have ulterior motives.

That is why these hypotheses arose that Rama will affect the justice reform, reduce the impact of SPAK, etc.

All these together can give rise to the hypothesis, beware that there is one thing to which we must be attentive.

Beyond that, from the texts of the resolution and the commission, we do not see any great danger.

There is an internal debate within the opposition, do we have the luxury to boycott again, should we say no to this fake Rama commission and not participate.

There are those who say that it is more rational to participate, to be part of the process, to oppose things from the beginning.

I oppose this and say that it is not in the interest of the opposition to play the role of Rama's facade. And this for several reasons.

First, the opposition that in the genesis of this commission was used as a facade.

Second, if I listen to the rhetoric of SP deputies, they say that we have a problem with corruption and that we should all work together with the opposition to improve this problem.

Who is the invitation, we steal, you wash us. Should the opposition accept such a position that we are stealing, you clean us up.

The role of the opposition is to point out the opponent's faults. So, such facade oppositions only exist in regimes and the Albanian opposition does not have this role, to patch the image of the majority or to improve it, especially since this majority will not improve.

They exist and stay in power only through theft.

The third is more tangible. The opposition is afraid that the justice reform can be changed, that articles such as abuse of office can be removed from the criminal code, that SPAK's powers can be affected.

The opposition in this parliament has the numbers of deputies to block the laws they want by 2/3 or 3/5.

In this sense, there is nothing to do in a commission where majority decisions are taken by the majority. If he sees dangers that he should prevent, he prevents them in parliament. It cannot play the role of a facade", Andi Bushati told "Syri Tv".
