Lawyer Kujtim Çakrani commented today on the sexual scandal involving the former mayor of Kukës, Safet Gjici.

In an interview with the media, the lawyer said that SPAK can now scan Gjic's property, given that he is accused of corruption. Çakrani emphasized that in Albania there are criminal groups that blackmail various individuals by means of compromising videos in exchange for monetary sums.

"In Albania there are criminal groups that blackmail different people by means of compromising videos. Criminal gangs are in action and are in action every day in this country. The prosecution has arrested Gjici only for passive corruption.
