The security expert Fation Softa has commented on the case of the video scandal of the former mayor Safet Gjici, where he appeared in the office of the municipality of Kukes having sexual relations with Alma Kaçi.
In an interview for Euronews Albania, the expert emphasized that he excludes the involvement of politics and criminal groups in this event. According to him, the 40-year-old woman may have used such methods to survive. He further added that Gjici should be investigated for his post and if this is the only case.
"Today, hidden cameras are also found on the Internet. There are places that sell these cameras. This is a very disturbing problem for society as it is an illegal activity, even more so when talking about intercepting or following a person. The way the video was filmed shows that Kaçi was alone in the recording from the moment she entered until she left. I don't believe that he published it himself because it would cover himself. The devices in Alma's house should be investigated to see if there are other cases like Gjici. The case of Kaçi should also be investigated as to what her activity was. In the direction of Gjic, it should be investigated whether it is a single case or there are other cases. He should be investigated for the use of public funds and his position.
In my judgment, I exclude politics and criminal groups. In my judgment it is a case of adventure that is engaged in these activities. Maybe he used these forms to survive," said Softa.
