Analyst Ilir Yzeiri says that the opposition Democratic Party has no soul and is not interested in taking power.
Invited to the Report TV studio on the show "Today Live in Albania", Yzeiri called the opposition a "clique", according to him, of millionaires who have gathered around Sali Berisha.
Yzeiri states that the opposition led by the Democratic Party is not interested in winning power, but according to him, it intends to remain in opposition.
"Today we do not have an opposition, we have a gang of millionaires gathered around Sali Berisha. They have occupied the Albanian opposition and have taken their place there, they have declared the eternal opposition and there is no will to change the government. It has become a party to the co-government by taking advantage of the benefits it can have as the main opposition party. It controls the government to participate in the tender cake, in Albania the idea that power can be built through the opposition has died out. This opposition has also declared itself that taking power is not in its ideal, its goal is to stay as it is. There is no one coming from the right in Albania to reorganize it. Now I think that Lulzim Basha was the right person who could keep the DP united ," said the analyst for "Repoprt TV".
