Heavy rainfall in Mirdita has caused mountain streams to overflow, damaging bridges, roads and isolating around 10 villages.
The most problematic situation is in Jezull, as residents are stranded after the collapse of the main bridge.
Mayor Albert Melyshi and Prefect Taulant Malshi inspected the area, emphasizing that the damage is extensive and beyond the municipality's capacities, so urgent assistance is required from central structures.
In addition to road damage, the city's water supply situation remains critical, as the Taraz stream endangers the main pipelines. In a special meeting, full readiness was established for interventions in isolated areas, with the safety of residents as a priority.
