Clashes at Police Station No. 1 in Tirana, citizens and DP deputies demand the release of protesters

Democratic Party deputies, along with several citizens, entered the premises of Police Station No. 1, where the protesters escorted during today's rally were sent.

DP MPs Tomor Alizoti and Agron Gjekmarkaj are reportedly inside along with the family members of the detained persons.

They demand the release of all protesters who were accompanied this evening, as there were clashes with the police inside the police station premises.

The Democratic Party has denounced police violence during the opposition protest, where several citizens, including children, were injured.
