Dozens of apartments in several cities were searched by the police in search of 42-year-old Klered Bozhani, who the night before shot and injured one of the "Eagle" forces.
Deputy The Minister of the Interior, Besfort Lamallari, has stated that the police have pinned their hopes on the handing over of the author as he repeated the call of the officers, for all those who have information regarding Bozhan's whereabouts.
Invited to News Line, Lamallari also called on the author to surrender, as the search continues intensively.
"First, the good news is that the police officer has passed the danger to his life. Good news for all of us, for his family and for all his colleagues in the police organization. It is unthinkable that today, that someone would dare and lay hands on the police officers, even worse, use weapons against them. Now and why we have strongly insisted on toughening the criminal code, the provisions related to guaranteeing the bodily integrity, health and life of police officers. After all, they are implementing the task. Public understanding and support is also required here. I would like to use this opportunity to repeat the call that the state police made during lunch hours, encouraging all citizens to cooperate with the police, to share valuable information about the location of the wanted person. On the other hand, it is a call that we make to the person himself, who must surrender. The police are determined to catch him. Searches continue intensively in every city where he may be. Several dozen apartments were searched. We want it to end an hour earlier."said Lamallari.
