A former police officer, who was very active on the social network TikTok, was arrested by Greek police, and is suspected of being involved in drug trafficking cases.
The 30-year-old was arrested on Monday, and 153 grams of cocaine was seized, Greek media reported.
In a video he posted on July 25, he stated that "since I left the Police, I've been tired of receiving messages telling me: 'be careful, they're coming for you, they're preparing this for you.'
And when I ask 'why?', they answer 'because you're talking to Albanians, you can greet the Roma, you can greet those guys who were from Georgia'”.
"Well, listen to me carefully. I was a police officer who went out and spoke about hot topics in public. Do you know what that means?"
"That, since I have a personal life, I should be afraid to leave the house for fear of being attacked from two hundred sides," he emphasized in one of the videos posted online.
"At this moment, I have achieved and I am proud of it, to get along well with all people. To be respected as I respect them. Regardless of where each one comes from. As for being out, I am not the one who should judge why they are out, if they should be and I don't know what," adds the 30-year-old.
The former police officer had been honored in the past by the Greek Police, and even before the moment of his arrest he had a strong presence in the public debate.
A search of the former police officer's home found:
– 153 grams of cocaine.
– anabolic pills.
– cartridges.
– scales.
– the police officer's identity card, which he had not submitted because he had declared that he had lost it before resigning.
