Some of the communications between Albanian model Misse Beqiri Maloku and Jeffrey Epstein have been made public. Her name is mentioned in dozens of documents now public by the US Department of Justice. Although some of the materials are redacted, her full name remains visible.
According to the communications, Misse first contacted Epstein on September 8, 2011. In the first email, she wrote: “Hello Jeffrey, I’m Misse, a friend of Tancredi. He told me to write to you about my stay in New York. Your hospitality is much appreciated! I will arrive on the 10th and leave on the 18th. Tancredi has spoken to me a lot about you and how much he appreciates you, and I look forward to meeting you. Respectfully, Missi.”
Then, Epstein's personal assistant, Lesley Groff, asked for photos and information about the Albanian. One of the emails reads: "Hello Misse, Could you please send me the details of your arrival in New York tomorrow? I have arranged for you to stay in one of his guest apartments during your stay. The address is 301 E 66th St. You will be in apartment 4M. The doorman will have a letter for you with the apartment's access code; we do not use keys, but a keypad with a code to enter. Can you also give me your phone number?"
The first meeting took place on September 17, 2011, at Epstein's Manhattan mansion. After this meeting, communications continued. Some of the messages mention possible meetings with her friends in Milan, as well as plans for trips to Paris and the Caribbean, or projects in the fashion world. In the correspondence, Misse mentions that some friends express hesitation due to personal relationships.
On September 26, 2011, she wrote: " Honey, I lost my phone... lol. I'm in Sweden, I have work here this week, I'm leaving for Milan on the 10th. How are you? I was thinking about you yesterday... Xxx."
In another communication she wrote : "I'm in Paris, where are you? I just got home today for Christmas. I'm still single, I've dated someone, but I'm not ready for anything serious yet... Where are you?"
Jeffrey Epstein wrote: "Where are you and what's his name?"
The last published communication is dated March 22, 2012. According to the British tabloid The Sun, Epstein offered her a private jet trip to Paris, where he was looking forward to going with her to a fashion show in the city. He also promised her a Mercedes worth 100,000 pounds. These details are reported by The Sun.
Born in Albania and raised in Sweden, Misse Beqiri built her career in the UK as a model and television personality. Now 39, she is a mother of two and the ex-wife of Manchester United's Danish goalkeeper, Anders Lindegaard.
She became known to the British public through her appearance on "The Real Housewives of Cheshire", which also featured her marriage to former goalkeeper Lindegaard. Their divorce, as well as her subsequent relationship with Jake Hall, were widely reported in the media.
