The head of the anti-violence section, Klodiana Allmuça, spoke about the horror in Tirana, where a 35-year-old man kept his mother, wife and 2 children locked up.
Allmuça said that the police had information that the perpetrator, Jetnor Zhaboli, used violence against his wife and that they were at the police station, but his wife did not confirm it. She has declared that she is in love with her husband.
Allmuça says that the couple was at the police station a few days ago.
"We had information that he was abusing his wife, they were called to the police station and the wife declared that she loves her husband. This happened a few days before the event was made public. The case was under monitoring and when voices were heard, the police patrol was at the apartment. We took Mr. Jetnor, who then opened the door of the apartment. We thought it was a conflict in the family, both sides were asked and no one said that there was violence", said Allmuça for "News 24".
