The alarming situation of measles in Albania, the Ministry of Health issues the decision for people born before 2000

At a time when measles cases are increasing every day, the Ministry of Health recommends revaccination with the second dose.

All persons born between 1980 and 1999 who do not document measles revaccination must be revaccinated with the second dose.

The instruction of the Ministry of Health has been distributed to health centers.

Among other things, the instruction provides guidance on the identification and isolation of cases identified with measles.

There is also a call for awareness of vaccination against measles among children, seeing the increase in cases.

The number of children infected with measles has reached 17. Currently, measles has been confirmed in Tirana and Durrës.
