27-year-old Ajet Lleshi, who had lost contact with his family since April 6, was found dead today in the mountainous area of Pashtriku in Has.
The young man had left home on an April morning to go to the mountains to cut wood in the forest, but on his way back he lost contact with his family. At around 5:00 PM, his family reported that they had lost contact with him.
Under these conditions, the young man's father and his three uncles went out into the mountains to search for him, but they split up in different directions and by 2 a.m. the family had lost contact with the 27-year-old's father.
Immediately after the announcement, the Police services began searching the area, in collaboration with Civil Emergencies and residents of the village, and after a few hours, they found Rizau on the Pashtriku mountain, in a serious physical and psychological condition.
During the ongoing search, his father felt unwell due to fatigue and stress, losing consciousness, but fortunately he was helped by relatives in time.
The search then continued for 4 days to find the 27-year-old, both from the ground by army forces and from the air with the assistance of an armed forces helicopter. There was also assistance from the Kosovo mountain search and rescue team, which made it possible to control the Pashtriku mountain with a drone where the young man lost contact.
