Problems with biometric identification of voters in Shijak, the device does not recognize fingerprints

Albania holds parliamentary elections today, May 11. Voting began at 07:00 across the country and closes at 19:00.

In one of the voting centers in Shijak, specifically in center number 1393/1, located in the premises of the "16 Shtatori" school, problems were encountered with the biometric identification of voters.

According to the VC chairman Orman Vora, the device failed to recognize the fingerprints of two voters, which led to the drafting of a report on the case.
