
The Electronic and Postal Communications Authority (AKEP) has imposed a fine of 10 million new alleks on the telephone company 'One Albania', due to problems with the services it offers.
After the complaints of many citizens about poor service and interruptions without warning of the network as well as problems with closing contracts, AKEP has decided to fine the company.
AKEP has emphasized that the company "One Albania" must respect the legal and contractual obligations related to service restrictions and the notification of the subscriber before the termination of the contract.
The decision states that "One Albania" must respect the legal obligations related to the publication of transparent, comparable, appropriate and updated information for each obligation at the end of the contract, as well as the general conditions for access and use of the services provided for end users.
AKEP has given a 60-day deadline to the company "One Albania" to solve all the problems encountered with its services.
" The entrepreneur of electronic communications "One Albania" sh.a., to respect the legal obligations related to the notifications of the subscriber and AKEP for the restriction or prohibition of access to their services, according to point 2, article 108, of the law 9918/2008.
The entrepreneur of electronic communications "One Albania" s.a., to analyze and provide solutions to the technical causes and the lack of coordination which have led to the violation of the maximum deadlines allowed for porting the number.
The entrepreneur "One Albania" sh.a. must review and repair all the technical problems identified in the architecture of the B/00S system modules in order to eliminate points of failure and improve the system within 60 (sixty) days from the decision final inspection.
The entrepreneur "One Albania" sh.a. is recommended to carry out periodic internal checks during this 60 (sixty) day period, as well as to notify AKEP of cases of rejections recorded and corrected by them.
The entrepreneur "One Albania" s.a., to submit periodic weekly reports to AKEP, analyzing the situation and the progress achieved in order to implement the tasks for the correction of the identified violations ", the announcement states.
