Security measures will begin on Sunday afternoon (October 15) with the blocking of several roads in the center of Tirana, where traffic and parking of vehicles will not be allowed.
Tirana will be under strict security measures for the Berlin Process summit that will be held on Monday, October 16.
The leaders of the Balkans, the member states of the European Union and high representatives of the EU will participate in this international summit.
EU leaders will come to Albania, among them the Chancellor of Germany and the President of France.
The State Police and the Garda have drawn up a strong plan of measures with a security perimeter to guarantee smooth functioning.
The Deputy General Director of the State Police, Sokol Bizhga, in a press conference, announced that 1,604 police forces will be engaged for the success of this summit.

For 24 hours, all businesses and passers-by will be prohibited from moving in the security perimeter near the place where the summit will take place in the heart of Tirana.

We are cooperating with the municipality of Tirana, the Rinas Port Authority, the municipal police, the fire service and the hospital center of Tirana.
