Protest continues

One of the organizers of the protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, Edison Lika, called on citizens to mobilize to continue the protests, while declaring that the plenary session of July 23 will be the last for the current MPs.

During his speech to the protesters, Lika said that the last session of this parliamentary session will not only be the closing of the Assembly's proceedings, but, according to him, also the end of the political mandate of the current MPs.

He emphasized that the decision on this does not belong to the political class, but to the citizens who, according to him, can impose change through protest.

" On July 23rd there will be the last plenary session. But that session will be the last session for them. Since they will not return to the Assembly. But who decides? I tell you; you decide! Here we decide! ", declared Lika.

In his speech, the protest organizer appealed to citizens to join the organized rallies, arguing that only through participation and citizen pressure can the change demanded by the protesters be achieved.

The protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office is taking place for the 48th consecutive day. Participants are demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, the removal of the political class, and changes to the system of governance, while organizers have stated that the rallies will continue until their demands are met.
