Analyst Ergys Mertiri has stated that participation in Thursday's protest, called by Sali Berisha, shows the opposition's loss of credibility.
In an interview for "Abc News", the analyst said that Prime Minister Edi Rama "benefits" from this protest as long as he is facing politicians like Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta.
" The participation is small, which shows the deep lack of credibility they have. Exporting the blame to the people is intolerable arrogance for any politician, even more so when he is in the opposition. If the people don't follow you, it's your fault and you don't convince the people that you are serious and follow you. So the one who is in politics, the one in the opposition should not blame others why they don't believe him, but see for himself why he is not trustworthy.
It is Rama's great fortune that he has Meta and Berisha in front of him, and as long as he has these two, he will have guaranteed power. That's why Rama is keeping Berisha in power, giving him the stamp, mandate and everything to stay in politics. For me, this protest, in addition to the small number of supporters, shows another thing, which is a protest that for me only helps Rama. Not a single thorn enters Rama's foot from this protest. As long as Rama has this opposition, it guarantees unassailable power ", said Mërtiri.
