Journalist Fatos Mahmutaj described yesterday's protest of the opposition as blocking the roads without a "side of the road".
In an interview for "Ora e finut", Mahmutaj said that Sali Berisha will not be removed from the non grata imposed by the US, despite the efforts he can make.
According to him, the Albanian justice institutions should ask the US for the file that sealed Berisha's non grata, and do what the Macedonians did in a few hours in the case of Artan Grubi.
"There is no way around this. To block citizens for Berisha's personal troubles with SPAK and DASH. Sali Berisha does not take away his personal problem, not women, even if he blocks all the roads of Albania. DASH does not take women away from them. Berisha is non grata and it remains for SPAK and the law enforcement institutions to ask the USA for the file for which they declared him non grata. To do at least what the Macedonians did within 12 hours. It is a decision with evidence, a well-written file, and for this reason, Berisha's file was completed, and then he was declared non grata. The Albanian state must request the American file and the US will have the will to send the file. Berisha should go where he belongs," said Mahmutaj.
