Protest for the KLA, Begaj reacts: No one can undo this legacy of bravery, sacrifice and heroism

The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, has supported the civic protest taking place in Tirana in defense of the war of the Kosovo Liberation Army.

Through a post on social media, Begaj states: " The KLA is the foundation of Kosovo's freedom. It is the pride of our national history. No one can undo this legacy of bravery, sacrifice and heroism ."

The protest organized in "Skënderbej" Square has gathered hundreds of citizens and representatives of civil society, in an act of solidarity with former KLA members who are being held in detention on charges of war crimes.
