Rally for former KLA leaders, SP officials join the protest; Bujar Leskaj breaks Berisha's order

Deputies, Ministers, Mayors and various officials of the Socialist Party have joined today's rally for former KLA fighters, at Skanderbeg Square.

Former Minister of Justice Ulsi Manja was present at the protest, who in a statement to the media said that this protest is not political, while calling on citizens to become part of this protest.

"Today's protest is impressive. This is not a political protest, it is a protest of Albanians, anyone with Albanian blood will have to be here in this square today ," said Manja.

Also seen at the protest was Lezha Mayor Pjerin Ndreu, who was next to Ulsi Manja. Meanwhile, SP MP Taulant Balla was seen accompanying Hashim Thaçi's son at today's protest.

The Democratic Party, on the other hand, declared that it would not participate in this rally. But Bujar Leskaj, the DP MP for Vlora, has broken this political order of Berisha and joined the protest.

"I am here out of respect for Hashim Thaçi, the political leader of the KLA," he said.
