Rumors are confirmed that the protest in Tirana today in support of the KLA is more of a political movement than support for prisoners in The Hague. The opposition in Kosovo has come to the defense of Prime Minister Edi Rama, who was accused yesterday by the VV of being among the instigators of the establishment of the Special Court.
PDK MP at the KLA protest in Tirana, Ganimete Musliu, thanked and defended Edi Rama.
" When injustice is committed, the people must speak out. The Albanian people today are speaking out against the injustices being committed against the KLA leaders in The Hague. Our heroes did not commit crimes. Serbia committed genocide ," said Musliu.
She emphasized that every Albanian who is grateful for the freedom they have gained should actively participate in the protests, describing the squares as the right place to defend national dignity and the history of the KLA.
" Today every Albanian who is grateful for our freedom should be in protest squares everywhere ," she added.
Musliu also thanked the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, for his stance in support of the KLA.
“ Thank you to Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama who has supported the KLA since the launch of the Special Court and has been against it ,” she said.
