Analyst Ergis Sefa said that the SP's victory in the May 11 elections was expected, although it was not expected to be of this magnitude.
He said that the Socialist Party knew how to play with the system and maximize the vote. The expert added that another reason for the Socialists' victory was the fragmentation of the opposition.
"The overall victory of the SP was expected, but I don't think it was expected in these proportions. We have done a study of the electoral programs. From there it was seen that we have a good preparation even of the small parties. From there we saw where the parties were focused, the Socialist Party was surgical in the way it wanted to get votes in certain areas that could increase the mandates in its favor. It knew how to play in those areas that maximized votes ," Sefa told "Euronews Albania".
