The US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, during the joint press conference with Prime Minister Edi Rama, was asked by journalists why he did not meet any of the members of the opposition.
In his response, Blinken was overly cautious and diplomatically avoided it by saying that he had had enough meetings today and that he had a busy schedule.
He further added that in his next visit to Albania, he will try to meet other segments of the Albanian society.
"I had the opportunity to meet with a number of people, I had the opportunity to meet with some personalities of justice and young people. When I return from dinner, I will have the opportunity to meet with a segment of Albanian society. Think I've had enough today ," said Blinken.
