Fatos Nano's former advisor, Ilir Kulla, spoke about Fatos Nano's political path, his election as leader of the Socialist Party, his imprisonment, and his decision to take on the task of reviving the Socialist Party.
During the interview, he also shared a conversation between him and Fatos Nano, about Sali Berisha.
Kulla remembers that in those difficult times of the political situation, he had asked Nano; "Why don't you put Berisha in prison?" As Kulla said, the answer was that he would not start a civil war over such things, adding that Nano always saw further than others.
" His story is unique because of the fact that he was a counter-pedaler in every major decision he made. He once blew my mind when I told him a joke about Berisha, "why didn't you put him in prison?" I will start the civil war because you have this mindset." So he saw further than the others. He told me that every time I go down to the field, they unite against me.
