The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, has started an official visit to Switzerland. It is about a country known for its secret bank accounts. There are dozens of Albanian politicians who have hidden millions there.
SPAK itself informs that Duman has met with the General Prosecutor of Switzerland, Stefan Blättler, with whom the latest developments in the fight against international organized crime and corruption were discussed.
" Both senior leaders, Mr. Dumani and Mr. Blättler, reaffirmed their commitment to continue and intensify the excellent cooperation started between the two respective offices based on domestic law and international legal instruments signed by the two respective states. International cooperation of this kind is essential to effectively combat all forms of organized crime and cross-border corruption. During the meeting, Mr. Dumani and Mr. Blättler emphasized the importance of strengthening good relations between the two institutions. This cooperation offers excellent opportunities for establishing a continuous communication in order to exchange the best experiences and for the creation of joint investigative strategies and units in the fight against organized crime and corruption in both countries ", announces SPAK.
Dumani and Blättler underlined that this positive spirit of cooperation will further strengthen joint efforts for a safer legal order in both countries and in the region.
