The Italian journalist of Report RAI3, Giorgio Mottola, spoke about the postponement of the show announced for yesterday. Asked in an interview for "Top News", regarding the focus of the investigation on Engjëll Agaçi, he said that Agaçi was a lawyer for Albanian drug traffickers in Italy.
He further added that in this dark event, he had an essential role. Asked about the attitude that Albania offers for helping immigrants, the journalist said that this pact is to Italy's advantage.
Question: Are you against the position that Albania offers help to immigrants?
Mottola: This is an agreement that will not bring advantages to Italy, it will be a temporary solution. The question that must be asked is why should agreements of this type be made?
Question: Why did you focus on Mr. Agaçi?
Mottola: I did not say that Agaçi is a criminal, even here I can say that what an investigative journalist does in Italy is to look for facts. Agaçi in Italy was the lawyer of many Albanian drug traffickers, this is confirmed. And when we have General Lisi, on the other hand, who unmistakably told us that he comes into contact with the drug trafficker Artur Shehu, because the lawyer Agaçi contacted him. Above all, for this very dark event, where the lawyer Agaçi had such an essential role, before the facts he should not protect the interests of a politician, but it is a proven event.
