The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has published a video this Monday showing excavators working on the Shkumbin River bed, in the Dragostunja area. According to him, the intervention to remove gravel has led to movement of the foundation and consequently the collapse of the Dragostunja-Përrenjas road.
In his reaction, Berisha accuses the ANK company of being responsible for the intervention in the river and the damage to the infrastructure, describing the situation as an event with consequences for the entire southeast of the country, following the traffic problems that followed the damage to the axis.
According to the message he published, the video and photos were sent by a "digital citizen", who, according to Berisha, is a supporter of the Socialist Party. The materials, the post says, were taken two weeks ago in the same area where the landslide occurred.
" In the same place where the landslide occurred, the contracting firm ANK took gravel from the river, which caused the road foundation to move. I denounce with the greatest force this serious crime that punished the entire southeast of the country ," Berisha writes.
