The actress requested a ban on the use of the image and 1 million euros in damages.
The Tirana Administrative Court has not accepted the request for securing the lawsuit filed by actress Anila Bisha regarding the use of her image for the government avatar "Diella".
The actress sued the Council of Ministers, the Albanian Academy of Artificial Intelligence, the company "Apel" shpk and Prime Minister Edi Rama. She requested the suspension of the functioning of the Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence until the conclusion of the judicial review, as well as the prohibition of the use of her personal data.
The case was reviewed by Judge Armand Shkurta, who decided to dismiss the request for a security measure.
In the lawsuit, Bisha also seeks 1 million euros in damages for damage to her image. She claims that her image and voice were used to create the avatar "Diella" without her consent and in violation of the existing contract.
According to her, the contract provided for the use of the image only as a virtual assistant for services on the e-Albania platform. She opposes the appearance of the avatar in the role of the minister, describing it as an action carried out without her knowledge and consent.
In documents submitted to the court, the actress emphasizes that the creation of the avatar was carried out without prior authorization and that the use of her data produced a digital duplicate of her identity.
The court process continues with the examination of the merits of the lawsuit.
